Approach
Three principles, applied every day.
Our principles are easy to state. The work is in applying them consistently, in every report and every handoff.
Principle
Accountability
We say what we’ll do, then we do it and show our work.
Each engagement starts with a written scope that names who is responsible for what. When something falls to Montview, it has an owner on our side, and you know who that is.
If something goes wrong, we tell you directly, explain what happened, and explain how we’re addressing it.
In practice
- Written scope and named owners
- Regular check-ins on agreed work
- Prompt, direct notice of problems
Principle
Transparency
You should never have to wonder where your money or your data went.
We report on the work in plain language, including what was spent, on what, and why. Our recommendations come with the reasoning behind them, so the practice can make its own decisions.
We keep business services clearly separate from professional ones. Montview doesn’t practice law or give legal advice, and we’ll always say so if a question belongs with the practice or its counsel.
In practice
- Plain-language reporting
- Visible budgets and vendor costs
- Clear line between business and professional matters
Principle
Long-term partnership
We’d rather be useful for years than impressive for a quarter.
Practices change. People join and leave, priorities shift, and systems age. We build engagements that can change with them, and we revisit scope rather than letting it drift.
We think of ourselves as part of the practice’s support structure, invested in its stability, without ever stepping into its professional role.
In practice
- Periodic scope reviews
- Documentation the practice keeps
- Continuity across staff changes
Start with a conversation.
Tell us about your practice and where the business side is taking more of your time than it should. We’ll listen first and give you an honest view of whether Montview is a good fit.
